You’re welcome at Casino Neighbourhood Centre – your neighbourhood centre

We exist to build positive changes for people in the Casino community.

Casino Neighbourhood Centre is a not-for-profit, community based organisation located at 138 Canterbury Street. We deliver a range of services and programs to the Casino community and surrounding rural locations, enabling people to feel valued, to remain resilient and connected to each other.

Our neighbourhood centre is a one stop shop where anyone in our neighbourhood can come for advice, support, information or to get involved in our local community. We also work to build our region’s strength through partnerships and advocacy for Casino.

As we are community owned and run, we aim to create social profit in Casino. We always go that extra bit further for our local community too, so in many ways, Casino Neighbourhood Centre is really your community centre.

Recent Facebook activity

Casino Youth Service staff would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to Casino RSM Club, and in particular to Mr Neale Genge, for sponsoring the purchase of new reading glasses for one of the young people we support. Your assistance is invaluable & will be instrumental in her future success both academically & socially.
Thanks again. You guys rock!!

And sadly, after the last few weeks of destruction & theft in the Casino Community Garden, I am disappointed to say that there was yet another attempt to break into one of the sheds over the weekend.
If the perpetrator(s) see these posts, if you need something, be it food or other, please come & see me at the Casino Neighbourhood Centre or call anonymously 6660 1900 - I may be able to help.
There is always a better solution to theft & vandalism is just plain hard to fathom. It's heartbreaking for our excellent volunteers who give their time for nothing in return. They do so from their own generosity and love of community.
