You’re welcome at Casino Neighbourhood Centre – your neighbourhood centre

We exist to build positive changes for people in the Casino community.

Casino Neighbourhood Centre is a not-for-profit, community based organisation located at 138 Canterbury Street. We deliver a range of services and programs to the Casino community and surrounding rural locations, enabling people to feel valued, to remain resilient and connected to each other.

Our neighbourhood centre is a one stop shop where anyone in our neighbourhood can come for advice, support, information or to get involved in our local community. We also work to build our region’s strength through partnerships and advocacy for Casino.

As we are community owned and run, we aim to create social profit in Casino. We always go that extra bit further for our local community too, so in many ways, Casino Neighbourhood Centre is really your community centre.

Want to be a part of something big?

Casino Indoor Sports Stadium has become not just a place for sports but a place where healthy activities are igniting civic pride and uniting people from all walks of life.

In December last year, Casino Indoor Stadium Association Incorporated was formed.

By becoming an Association, the stadium will now have access to grants, funding and other opportunities not able to be provided directly by council. This will mean that costs are kept as low as possible for memberships to sporting competition’s and give greater value to participants, as well as other non-sporting activities that will especially be of benefit to the youth.

It also enables us to achieve a lot more than an individual can as the growth of the stadium’s sports and activities are increasing and therefore the numbers of participants.

The first public meeting will be held on Wednesday 8th February at 6pm to 7pm at Casino Indoor Sports Stadium, Colley Park, Casino. All interested parties are invited from the Richmond Valley and beyond and are welcome to attend.

The nature of Casino Indoor Sports Stadium has been to foster a wide cross section of community involvement and this is essential to the long term viability of the Casino Indoor Stadium Association Inc. All people of different cultural backgrounds, abilities and ages are encouraged to attend and become members and/or committee members.

Please RSVP as seating is limited and in case I need to organise more.

Thanks! Hope to see you here :)
